ROY, TRIGGER AND BULLET

How sad that this collection and museum have failed.
I suppose it was kitsch but it was part of my youth and a big part of American Movie and TV history that a lot of people grew up with. I loved the horse and dog more then Roy and Dale I think lol.

Wild West kitsch will take overChristie’s plush quarters at Rockefeller Center at noon on Friday. A preview opens for the last of this year’s five major auctions dispersing the contents of the Roy Rogers-Dale Evans Museum in Branson, Mo.
That money-losing attraction closed in December, and descendants of the singing cowboy and cowgirl actors have scattered the displays for sales in Arizona, Colorado and New York.
